Thrift Hunting Meme

Yay! For the first entry. One thing I’m very careful about buying too much – clothes for the kiddo. She grows so fast that its just a waste to buy a lot of stuff. I mostly buy things that she can wear for at least a year and I get mostly stretchable, bigger than her usual sizes. And it’s doubly hard coz she’s such as fashionista lol!

Thankfully, she’s not averse to wearing stuff from second hand shops. I guess finding vintage, fashionable things makes her happy too. Just like her momma. Last time, I went thrifting with her @ Japan Thrift Shop {Phnom Penh} and we got these. Priced at $1 each, but since we got other items they also gave us a 50% discount, so we just bought this for $.50, all in all $1.

And she loves it!! Both has ‘flare’ style and fits her. She looks really good in jeans hehe. I think I’ve got to take her photo wearing this sometime..

Whew! I’ve finally gotten around to posting this. Hahaha.  It’s a great time to end procrastination right? Actually, DonyaBooding, a thrifting/blogging friend and I has been tossing ideas about this ‘share-a-thrift-hunt-meme’ since early last year. But we had a ‘life’ in between so this has been put on the back burner.

But I’m  now back on track and starting the meme as the Chinese New Year is about to start, is auspicious hehe. See, I’ve been really good, overhauling a lot of my blogs last week and I even managed to make a logo for this thrift-hunting meme..

Share a Thrift Hunt Meme

Why a thrift hunting meme? Well, we love shopping bargains, vintage and we also love sharing our finds. Having a network of thrift hunters would also allow us to discover new thrifting gold mines in every place. Thrifting is also fun and we wanna share the fun with others. And if those reasons are not enough to convince, then this might:
