It has been ages since I went thrifting! And I miss it soo badly. Finally, today I could go to our favorite thrifting haunt – Japan Thrift Shop (Toto Recycle Shop) Phnom Penh and I got to satisfy my retail cravings and spent less than $3!! I feel really good about shopping like this and bringing home best buys. At the very least I won’t go into debt if I shop like this. And my penny pinching streak is particularly nasty right after Christmas so shopping thrift is really a great thing for me.
What did I unearth today? Please pardon the photos and the clothes, still all wrinkled. I guess I was too excited about the loot so I took photos without washing or ironing these..
A brown Sakura Girls maman-style dress for the kiddo for only $0.50

A pale blue tank top from Zara Trafaluc – $0.50

A beige knit poncho from Clef Del Sol – $0.50 (I’m head over heels in love with this! So versatile.)

A beige canvas cosmetic bag – $0.25

And two Japanese tea cups for $0.60.

All in all, I paid $2.35.

I also love the pale blue tank top!!!
I wanted to post the stuff I thrifted last Tuesday but changed my mind at the last minute! hehehe.

I’m a newcomer in PP and would like to get the address of cool second hand shops…Where can I find this Toto recycle shop? Is there any other shop within the city center??
Thanks!

hi nr, thanks for leaving a comment. Toto Recycle Shop is along st. 47 near Wat Phnom. They also have another branch along Hanoi Rd, somewhere further than Lim Kokwing Design school.
